Aluminum Facade & Shopfront — Tonk Road Showroom

The Challenge

The existing shopfront was a mix of old MS frame with standard glass — dated, no branding presence, and poor thermal performance. The owner was relaunching the showroom brand and needed an exterior that matched the quality of the interior redesign. Budget constraint: the facade had to be completed without closing the showroom for more than 2 consecutive days.

Our Solution

We designed a heavy-gauge aluminum shopfront system (2.5mm extrusion) with a powder-coated charcoal grey finish — a color that photographs strongly and reads well from moving traffic. Automatic sliding entrance doors with SS hardware. Composite cladding panels (aluminium composite material, 3mm) in off-white on the upper facade above the glazed zone.

Materials Used

• 2.5mm heavy-gauge aluminum extrusion — structural shopfront frame
• Powder coat: RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey — all aluminum sections
• 8mm toughened glass — shopfront panels
• Aluminum composite material (ACM), 3mm — upper facade cladding
• Automatic sliding door system with SS hardware
• Stainless steel SS 316 — door handles and pull bars

The Result

Facade completed in 21 days. Showroom closure: 1.5 days total. The owner reported a 40% increase in walk-in traffic in the first month post-launch, which they attributed to improved street presence. The facade has since been quoted in two other Tonk Road commercial inquiries.
